Guides editor
Tomás writes our explainers on game modes, odds and provably fair systems, and looks after the responsible gambling guidance on the site.
Tomás plays Rust in long sessions on weekends and is the one in his group who keeps a spreadsheet of raid costs. That habit carries over to his work here: he explains how crash multipliers, upgrader odds and jackpot pots actually behave, with the maths written out in plain words so you can check it yourself.
He verifies the provably fair systems on the sites we review, writes the game-mode guides and the ranking pages that sit behind them, and maintains our responsible gambling page and the list of support organisations we point readers to.
He is not interested in strategies that promise to beat the house. He is interested in helping you understand what a bet really costs before you place it.
Upgrader win chance is the value ratio with the house edge taken off, so every target costs the same on average. Here is the maths, why laddering upgrades is worse, and how pricing moves the real odds.
